Thank you so much for stopping by! I have named this blog "Running to the Cross" because that is what I often find myself doing...running to be with my Lord Jesus! I often cover many aspects of life on my blog, as it is my journal. I used to write things down in all sorts of notebooks, but my writings would soon be lost. So I decided that it was time to start a blog and share my thoughts and ideas with others. Many topics you will find here are prayers, homemaking and organization, children and pregnancy, funny stories, and the challenges of parenting and motherhood. Menu Plan Monday!


You may have noticed that I have not posted a menu for a couple of weeks. I did okay though. I still didn't have to think too hard about what we were eating, but it would have been easier had I written a menu up.

Well, I am trying to get back on track so here is this week's menu (I also post it in the sidebar for easy reference).

Monday: Beef & noodles, fresh green beans, everything bagels toasted in oven with butter & garlic salt.
Tuesday: Spaghetti & meatballs, green beans.
Wednesday: Beef roast, potatoes, carrots & gravy, green beans, corn cake.
Thursday: Pizza, salad.
Friday: My oldest son's birthday!!! Grilled hamburgers & hotdogs, chips, salad, birthday cake.
Saturday: My Birthday...Hope I don't have to cook!!! ;O)
Sunday: Leftovers.
