My First Visit to My Midwife

I am so elated right now! For the first time I heard the baby's heartbeat! God is so good!
I am greatly anticipating the day that I get to hold this new little one. I know the baby will be here in the blink of an eye, but I am soooo anxious!

Little fingers,
little toes,
little mouth,
little nose!

The tiniest cry you've ever heard.
Such peaceful sleep,
more powerful than words.

This little being sized just right,
fits in you arms,
So hold him tight.

God gives precious gifts,
with arms of love,
and hands them to us
from Heaven Above!

I am so amazed at the wonderful gifts that our children are to us. It amazes me, still, that God has chosen to bless me in such a way!
