Thank you so much for stopping by! I have named this blog "Running to the Cross" because that is what I often find myself doing...running to be with my Lord Jesus! I often cover many aspects of life on my blog, as it is my journal. I used to write things down in all sorts of notebooks, but my writings would soon be lost. So I decided that it was time to start a blog and share my thoughts and ideas with others. Many topics you will find here are prayers, homemaking and organization, children and pregnancy, funny stories, and the challenges of parenting and motherhood. Today I am saying a special prayer today for my dear sister-in-law...her father passed away last night after a long battle with cancer. It is very sad to think that she lost her mother earlier this summer, and now she has lost her father...both to cancer.
I feel extremely blessed today...I still have both of my parents and one grandparent still living. I can't even imagine what it would be like to be without them.

Oh my, I don't know how I would handle this. I'm sure that this is very difficult for her. I will lift her up before the Lord.
