Welcome and Blessings!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I have named this blog "Running to the Cross" because that is what I often find myself doing...running to be with my Lord Jesus! I often cover many aspects of life on my blog, as it is my journal. I used to write things down in all sorts of notebooks, but my writings would soon be lost. So I decided that it was time to start a blog and share my thoughts and ideas with others. Many topics you will find here are prayers, homemaking and organization, children and pregnancy, funny stories, and the challenges of parenting and motherhood. If you enjoy my blog and leave me a comment, you are likely to have me visit! I love meeting others and gleaning from the lives of others. May you be blessed! Your friend in Christ, Heather

Architectural Beauty at our Home

Upon entering our driveway, you are welcomed by stone pillars with stone baskets of fruit.

The Bell Tower...yes, the bell works!
The stone barn with beautiful archways...
Next photo blog entry...A Walk to the Beach.

I love the look--it reminds me of home...my parents live in So. Cal., and much of the architecture looks like this. Can't wait to see more pics. of your home!

We actually live on the east coast, or nearly. The ocean is just a short drive away...though, we haven't been there since our move.

I am getting my home ready for company so it should be photo ready soon! There is just so much to do. The only room that I won't be photographing is the office...it needs shelving badly before it can be organized and set up properly. Right now it is full of boxes because we have too many books...my husband is a book lover and doesn't have enough space to store them yet...good thing is, he is a custom woodworker so he can make his own shelving.
